Harry came to us because we are a soft touch! He had been adopted and then rejected because of supposed behavioural problems - trashing furniture and menacing children. We wondered how we would cope! But we never saw anything like that from him; he was warm hearted, respectful of everything in the house - not even pinching food if you gave him a 'look' - and most tolerant of children especially our 2 year old granddaughter who appointed herself as Harry's friend and dinner bowl provider.
He was great fun and so his loss of spark in early 2009 was obvious; he slowly went down hill and died in May 2009. We miss him very much.
Farewell Harry old friend, we won't forget you.
